Some are manufactured by the Waterbury Button Company that has been in business since 1812. Many are in great condition and some are mediocre. Sizes range from small to large. Confederate Buttons - Infantry, Confederate Staff Officer, CS Navy, "I" in script, North Carolina, Kentucky, Alabama, Alabama Volunteer Corp.
