Moses was a Dr. in the War Between the States, Company E 3 Battalion CSA. He was kicked in the head by a horse or mule, causing his death. Cemetery located on Bramlett Church Rd. First married to Rebecca Martin and secondly Louvinia E Bates. Known children: Veleria, Fila, Clayton, Arthur, Max, Alphine and Collier Drummond Cox. Known brothers and sisters: John Spurgeon Cox, Drury S Cox, Sally (Sarah) Malinda Cox and Mary Malinda Cox. Moses was the son of Drury Cox and the daughter of John & Nancy Spurgeon.
