Here is a simple process with 4 steps to begin your journey.

The first step toward becoming a member is determining whether or not you meet the requirements for SCV membership.

Step 1 - Eligibility

If you meet the eligibility requirements, the next step is to contact the SCV Division nearest you.

Step 2 - Camp

Documenting a genealogical line from you to your Confederate ancestor is required for membership in the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

Step 3 - Genealogy

You’ve completed Step 1. You’ve completed the research, have proof you are descended from a Confederate veteran.
